DRINKING AND DRIVING AD CAMPAIGN
Design Narrative
The challenge was twofold: crafting a persuasive anti-drunk driving campaign that appeals to young adults, college students, and parents, while ensuring simplicity in design without sacrificing message clarity. The poster’s typography is deliberately succinct and bold, drawing immediate attention, complemented by visually captivating imagery depicting a group enjoying a night out. By strategically combining text and visuals, the poster effectively communicates the message that opting for safe alternatives like Uber can lead to a worry-free night out. This approach not only addresses the problem positively but also presents a solution, catering to our first design challenge. Additionally, careful consideration of typography placement, weight, line spacing, and font, alongside appropriate imagery, ensures that the poster remains simple yet impactful, effectively resonating with its intended audience.
